Is it arrogant to disbelieve the conclusions of "thousands of the world's leading scientists"? On the contrary, it is arrogant of the IPCC to purport that the "science is settled".
In fact, the opinions of scientists who dissent are suppressed or ridiculed in the media. There may be many well-qualified scientists whose opinions are opposed to the views of the IPCC. They just simply don't get get any publicity in the media and so appear invisible.
True science is based on a balance of evidence from all sources. Suppression of dissenting opinions represents politically biased pseudo-science.
