Causes Of Global Warming

There is strong disagreement on the real causes of global warming! An increasing number of scientists, both in Canada, and around the world, are openly revealing unsettling facts.
I know this sounds unbelievable. But bear with me. Let me present to you what I have found. Then, make up your own mind about global warming!
I have recently conducted a thorough survey of the scientific facts on the state of our atmosphere.
I will limit myself here to what is well documented, and published by highly reputable scientists around the world.

Two Schools Of Thought
The most publicized version, of the plausible causes of global warming, points an accusing finger at - man, himself!
According to this version, adopted by most governments of the World, modern man has polluted his environment … almost beyond repair.
This belief was acquired after a certain number of studies had concluded that:
- We are experiencing a global warming.
- Man produced greenhouse gases were responsible for it!
However, some governments are having second thoughts. A large number of reputable scientists are coming forth with evidence that:
- The initial studies on the causes of global warming were based on false premises!
- The main source of our energy - our Sun - is actually a much more important factor of climate change, dwarfing man's mistakes many, many times over.
- The causes behind the Earth’s “bouts of fever”, or “shivering spells” might even have their origins beyond the solar system! The causes might be more natural than man made !
I know some of these assertions are going to raise more than one eyebrow among you. They already have in many circles that had comfortably settled themselves behind the "guilty man" concept.
Most of the members in each school of thought generally agree that there is a global warming. They do not necessarily agree on the causes of it and, most certainly not, on the consequences of global warming.
The Bull By The Horns
On January 10, 2007, sixty one (61) scientists, known for their knowledge and work in the field of meteorology, and it's related disciplines, wrote an "eye opening" open letter to the Prime Minister of Canada.
The letter is titled: "61 Prominent International Scientists Call For An Open Climate Science Review of Kyoto". (Opens a new window. Please ensure that your Web browser will accept popups from this Web site). It is worth reading. Trust me.
The are essentially asking that, before spending billions of dollars on reducing man made production of greenhouse gases, the entire problem be submitted to public consultation.
According to these scientists, “no Canadian scientific review of the facts has ever been conducted”!

They are asking to be heard, publicly, because they want to be allowed to demonstrate that the study of the causes of global warming, using present day computerized models, is in it's infancy, and full of … balderdash!

Global climate will continue to change, due to the same natural causes that were in action in the past!
The big question is now: what are the main causes of global warming?
The list of scientists who signed the letter is impressive, to say the least. They cannot be all wrong!
What Can We Do?
I, for one, am more than willing to support their request that they be heard, and that an open debate be possible on this critical issue. They stand ready to contribute to open global warming research, unhampered by political agendas.
It would be nice if a significant portion of the billions that are being earmarked toward implanting the Kyoto protocol were, instead, allocated to the search of ways to help man adapt to the climatic changes that nature will inevitably impose upon us.
Let's lead the way, as Canadians, and as responsible citizens of the world. Sixty one man and women have offered their expert help. Let's accept their offer. Let's have a cold, hard look at - all - the possible causes of global warming!
